2009
West Virginia Family Reunion begins the week of August 9, 2009
(08/11 - 08/16). Join us as we "Kick the Triple Nickel!" on the way to Marlinton, WV. We rendezvous in Zanesville, OH on Saturday night August 8 for a good meal and a cold beer...just chilin after a good day's ride. On Sunday morning we meet at an agreed upon location in the southern portion of Zanesville, OH where we begin our assault on the famous Ohio - 555 "Triple Nickel". Our route will take us 65 miles to the outskirts of Parkersburg, WV. We'll stop at an old covered bridge for a break and some photos (see below) near the end of Ohio-555, then it's over the river and on to Parkersburg, WV. From Parkersburg, we'll take a series of awesome rural 2-lane roads into the heart of West Virginia (see route details below) and onto Norton for a hotdog at Bob's Hotdogs (very popular with the 2-wheel crowd).
